Today TET Exam has been written all over Tamil Nadu, before the exam will be conduct Sethurama Varma, the Joint Director of Teachers Recruitment Board conveyed some important information for the candidates.


Sivagangai: Cautioning candidates appearing for the first Teacher Eligibility Test, Sethurama Varma, Joint Director, Teachers Recruitment Board, appealed not to be deceived by offering any sort of bribe concerning teachers recruitment for schools in Tamil Nadu.
     
He assured that the exam would be conducted in proper manner, without any blemishes. 


About 6.5 lakh candidates are appearing for the first Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by Tamil Nadu Government, on July 12, at 1,027 various centers across the state. Entire work for conducting the exam at, 1027 centers has been completed on a war footing, told TRB.


Briefing rules of the exam at a meeting held for examination observers headed by the Sivagangai Chief Education Officer, Radha Krishnan, the Joint Director told none of the candidates shouldnt be affected. Differently abled candidates will be provided ground floor. He asked the candidates not get deceived by offering money to anyone. Exam will be held in 100 per cent in non-biased manner.  


B.Ed teachers will be appointed based on the marks obtained in the exam. Successful secondary grade teachers will be appointed based on seniority of registration in employment exchange. For the first time, with minimal human resources, eligibility test for more teachers is being conducted.  Although few candidates had made mistakes in filling the application form, as it is first time, we have permitted them to write the exam, he apprised the officials.
